25 March 2008 Air Mauritius 'reconfigures flights'
Flight provider Air Mauritius has announced it is reconfiguring its flight arrangements, it has been reported.
According to TravelMole, the airline is scrapping its three-class service in a bid to distance itself from the structure.
Instead, it intends to introduce a new business class seat as the company angles its market at economy and business customers.
From July 1st 2008, passengers flying to emerging destinations from Heathrow with Air Mauritius, such as western Australia and Mauritius, will be able to recline on newly-designed angled flat beds in the new business cabin - which replaces the current first class, premium economy and economy layout.
In the business class cabin, lie-flat cocoon seats at 60-inch pitch will be available with special features such as massage options and inflatable lumber pouches.
Air Mauritius operates flights to traditional destinations in Europe as well as emerging destinations in Asia, Africa, Australia, the Middle East and the Indian Ocean.
