18 January 2008 Airport guide for 'top ski spots'
An airport guide has been devised in order to help Brits find the best ski spots of 2008.
Cheapflights.co.uk has claimed that some airports are not necessarily located in close proximity to holidaymakers final destinations, however it lists the five best airports to deliver travellers to the top ski spots of 2008, Easier reports.
Top of the list is Geneva, which is described as the "creme de la creme" of its counterparts in terms of skiing holidays.
"With easy access to most of the top ski destinations in both the Swiss and French Alps, a ski route via Geneva airport will open a gateway to resorts like Verbier, Megeve, Chamonix, Courchevel and Val d'Isere to name but a few," the flight provider observes.
Other top spots are listed as Vancouver - positioned next to Whistler ski resort - Grenoble - within reach of three main French ski regions - Turin and Aspen.
So far this season snowfall has been favourable, compared to that of the 2006-07 ski season.
