01 February 2008 'Best to book in advance' for honeymoons
Soon to be married couples may discover that booking early in the year provides them with the best deals on honeymoons.
Hitched.co.uk reports that January is a "particularly" busy time of year due to the fact that special offers, deals and packages are available in the New Year sales.
Meanwhile, the Valentine's Day period is also busy as many people choose to get engaged at this time, spokesperson Francesca Moore noted.
"With a lot of tailor-made agents you can secure your flights and then keep adding to your holiday as and when they become available," she added.
According to Ms Moore, honeymoon planners can book hotels and other extras later on down the line.
In order to guarantee availability she recommended booking 11 months in advance.
