31 January 2008 Brazil holidays are for "young and old"
A holiday in Brazil is suitable for travellers of all generations, according to one commentator.
The Brazilian Embassy's tourist office claims that the country has something to offer tourists young and old.
Tom Falcao, general manager of the tourist office of the Brazilian Embassy in London, noted that Brazilians love children - meaning that families travelling to the country can take their offspring with them to most places.
He added that youngsters can play sport on beaches such as basketball and football.
"[It is attractive for] older people as well, as there are lots of spas in several states in Brazil. There are places with thermal waters, hot waters and cold waters," the general manager continued.
Mr Falcao added that the southern part of Minas Gerais, north of Sao Paolo, boasts famous mud baths as well as several water spas.
Britons travelling to Brazil do not require a visa for visits under 90 days long.
