14 October 2005 Bryson prefers US, Canada and Australia
Travel writer Bill Bryson has spoken out against the state of British towns and cities and said that those of other countries far much better in terms of lack of rubbish.
The Author of such books as A Small Island, and A short History of Nearly Everything said countries such as the US, Canada and Australia do not suffer such problems.
Mr Bryson was speaking at the second National Conference of Visitor Attractions (VAC2005).
Speaking about the state of British towns, he said :Litter is becoming a national disgrace and could leave many visitors disappointed and with poor impressions of this wonderful destination, reports Health Club Management.
The US, Canada and Australia are becoming increasingly popular for UJ holidaymakers, and this may be one reason why.
