Doing your Christmas shopping in the UK is more expensive than ten other European countries, according to new research.
The study from PriceRunner will give more people the incentive to enjoy a European break and pick up some bargains whilst on their travels.
A Christmas shopping list of 11 different items showed Germany to be the cheapest place for shopping, and France, Belgium and Austria were all cheaper than the UK too.
The shopping list in Germany cost £825.41 compared to £894.92 in the UK, while items such as a PlayStation Portable costs £179.99 in the UK, yet just £121.89 in Poland.
