03 August 2005 Double explosion hits Turkish resort
Two bombs have exploded in the Turkish holiday resort of Antalya, with reports claiming six people have been injured by the blasts.
According to the Anatolia news agency, the two devices were located on a bus and a rubbish bin in the centre of the resort and went off within a few minutes of each other, with one tourist believed to be among the injured.
Antalya is situated on the Meditteranean coast, and an influx of tourists in recent years has made it Turkey's fourth largest city.
More than 13 million foreigners visit the country each year, but it has been targeted recently by a spate of bombings blamed on Kurdish militants and Islamists.
Tourism is absolutely crucial to Turkey, and represents the second largest source of national revenue after foreign exports.
