31 December 2007 Dubai to "grow dramatically" in 2008
The emirate of Dubai is expected to "grow dramatically" in the new year, it has been reported.
TradeArabia News Service reports that Katherine Gershon, vice-president of sales and marketing at British luxury airline Silverjet made the comment on Sunday December 30th.
Accordingly, the airline has anticipated its own growth during this period.
"We expect Dubai to continue to grow dramatically in 2008 and that means more travellers flying to and from the UK. Already in 2007, we have met or exceeded our sales, marketing and operational goals," Ms Gershon commented.
Silverjet reports that Dubai is the Middle East's "hub" for tourism and business.
Dubai makes up one of the seven emirates that constitute the United Arab Emirates.
