24 October 2007 "Enhanced" onboard experience for holidaymakers
Holidaymakers flying with Virgin Atlantic can look forward to a more comfortable experience if they travel onboard the Airbus A380, it has been reported.
According to Anna Knowles, head of PR at Virgin Atlantic, the new aircraft will give passengers an "enhanced experience" while travelling.
Ms Knowles added that as well as offering advantages to business travellers, all kinds of passengers will benefit as the large size of the craft means that a larger number of travellers than before will be able to fly.
"This aircraft type will give airlines the ability to use the additional space in an interesting way to enhance the passenger experience and Virgin Atlantic always tries to ensure that it is able to offer unique features onboard any new aircraft type," commented Ms Knowles.
She added that the upcoming Dreamliner will be a "new generation" of aircraft and will give passengers an "improved onboard experience".
Over four million passengers travel with Virgin Atlantic Airways annually.
