26 February 2008 'Eurocamping offers value for money'
Eurocamp holidays offer good value for money, according to the firm's head of sales and marketing.
Ruth Start highlights that the facilities on offer at the camping destinations are comprised of "varied accommodation types to suit every budget and taste".
Ms Start continues that taking a Eurocamp holiday will also let people "get back to nature" as well as offer "a greener holiday option" and the campsites also "encourages its customers to use public transport through its links with Rail Europe".
The head of sales and marketing also highlights the potential benefits that Eurocamp destinations can offer families with children.
She highlights the fact that there are onsite activities and a community atmosphere, which she argues makes it easy for kids to make friends.
A survey carried out by the AA last year also found that the increasingly popularity of caravanning holidays is prompting a shift in car-buying habits.
The study found that an increasing number of car-buyers - 21 per cent - were considering a more comfortable model to cater for more motorway driving.
