14 March 2008 Half a million Brits 'to travel to Easter holidays destinations'
Around 500,000 Britons look set to travel with one airline this month as they head abroad to Easter holiday destinations.
Budget airline easyJet reports that half a million passengers will take to the skies on its flights over the Easter holidays.
The flight provider claims that this is due to the "huge choice" of "fantastic destinations" in addition to low-fares that it offers.
Of the 500,000 Britons set to travel this Easter, over 300,000 passengers are flying from London's Gatwick, Luton and Stansted airports
"Passengers have a fantastic choice of destinations with easyJet this Easter. With so many new routes recently launched from its London airports, such as Palermo, Pisa and Thessaloniki, there's a perfect holiday destination just waiting for you to explore," commented easyJet's consumer PR executive Marianne West.
Popular Easter holiday destinations for 2008 are set to include Geneva, Malaga and Alicante.
