16 June 2006 Hire deal to provide improved service
People who travel with bmi are to get access to Hertz car hire after the two companies agreed a three year deal.
Those who opt for bmi services will receive access to a range of Hertz services as a result of the agreement, including budget and luxury services, as well as more specialist rental items such as ski racks, satellite navigation systems and child seats.
Commenting on the deal, Adrian Parkes, commercial director at bmi, said: "We look forward to developing our partnership with the world’s largest car hire company to give all our customers access to the best travel deals, whether in the air, or on the road."
Lesley Lindberg, director of marketing at Hertz, added that its customers will receive improved services as a result of the deal.
"This partnership enables us to offer new and existing customers great value and service benefits, for which both brands are known,” Ms Lindberg added.
Hertz operates from over 7,400 locations across the world and participates in around 25 million transactions each year.
