10 January 2008 More routes to "popular" holiday islands
A number of new routes to what it describes as "popular" holiday islands have been announced by Leeds Bradford International Airport.
The hub reveals that Thomas Cook Holidays has added to its range of winter 2008/09 holidays flying from its base.
Flights to the holiday islands of Gran Canaria, Tenerife and Lanzarote are now available along with flights to the Algarve, the Spanish costas, Crete, Cyprus, the Canary Islands, the Balearic Islands, Malta, Turkey and the Greek islands.
"Thomas Cook are one of our key customers and we are delighted that they have introduced an additional winter sun programme from our airport, especially during this peak booking season," commented Sally Ramsey, marketing and business development manager for Leeds Bradford International Airport.
The Association of British Travel Agents recently reported that the Canary Islands are a popular choice for Brits travelling on winter breaks.
