08 February 2008 New York and Cairo 'tipped for families'
New York and Cairo are both top destinations for family holidays, according to one commentator.
Kirker Holidays reported that there exists a "real opportunity" for families to plan city holidays to cities that are both fascinating and entertaining and also educational.
Ted Wake, director of sales and marketing for Kirker Holidays noted that destinations in Egypt and the US such as Cairo and New York could be top locations for families going on holiday.
"Cairo is fantastic - Egypt is on every child's curriculum
New York works very well for families. No teenage girl can fail to be excited about the prospect of going to Central Park," he commented.
Other activities in Egypt could include visiting the Egyptian Museum, taking an evening cruise with bellydancers, an early morning hot air balloon ride in Luxor or tea on the Nile.
