Princess takes birthday trip to traditional ski resort

Princess Eugenie, daughter of Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York, and the Duke of York, recently spent her 18th birthday on a ski holiday in the traditional destination of Verbier.
While her sister Princess Beatrice opted for a flash party at Windsor Castle when she turned 18, the younger sibling, who is sixth in line to the thrown, opted to spend her birthday - which fell this year over the Easter bank holiday weekend - skiing in the Swiss ski resort.
And the news comes as the Ski Club of Great Britain revealed that snow conditions at the resort were fantastic over the weekend, making it likely that the Princess's party was all the merrier.
Verbier Ski Club of Great Britain rep Gerry Aitken described the conditions as the best of the season.
The Ski Club described conditions at the resort as fairly crowded recently, as people made Verbier their Easter holiday destination.
