23 October 2007 Regional airports 'have much to offer business travellers'
Business passengers have much to gain from regional airports, it has been suggested.
According to a spokesperson from East Midlands Airport, the facility caters to a number of business traveller destinations.
Furthermore, the spokesperson claimed that convenient and efficient systems at its airport "cater for their needs, starting from the moment they arrive at the airport".
"Our self service check-in kiosks are quick and easy to use, saving time at the check-in process. We offer priority security lanes for business users as well as the use of our executive lounge once in the departure lounge," the spokesperson continued.
The airport representative added that the East Midlands Airport terminal is Wi-Fi enabled meaning that the business traveller has "easy access when required".
East Midlands Airport was voted the World's Leading Eco Friendly Airport in the World Travel Awards recently.
