11 December 2007 Tips for a stress free holiday
Travellers planning on embarking on holidays in the new year have been issued with advice on how to make their journeys as stress-free as possible.
According to British Airways and the UK's Stress Management Society it is important to get a sufficient amount of sleep before embarking on a journey while anxiety and time can be spared at airports by using online check-in systems.
The duo also advise leaving plenty of time for arrival at the airport to avoid last minute queues and rushing.
British spa and skincare brand Elemis is to oversee BA's spas in Heathrow Terminal 1 and 4 and offers travel kits which could help boost travellers' energy levels such as Elemis Eyes Awake Recovery Gel, Lip Revive and Rehydrating Ginseng Skin Tonic.
While few need advice on how to relax when on holiday, the airline advises holidaymakers to eat well and keep their fluid levels up.
