An online travel agency has recently published a list of its top tips to assist travellers in their quest for a more enjoyable holiday experience.
Expedia.com has published ten items of advice for avoiding common problems which may lead to anxiety, delays and extra costs added to the money already spent on tickets and accommodation.
Recommendations offered by the company include booking early, being flexible in departure dates, taking early morning flights, planning extra time into a travel schedule and early shipping of gifts ahead of travel.
"Crowded airplanes, congested freeways and lots of packed gifts in luggage can make the holiday seasons a stressful time to travel," Expedia.com reports.
"It doesn't have to be the least wonderful time of year."
