10 November 2006 Trend for holiday villas in Hawaii
Holidaymakers bored of the traditional hotel experience are leading a trend towards the renting of holiday villas, according to a holiday rental home firm.
Hawaiian Beach Rentals claims that travellers staying in a villa on holiday can save money when travelling as part of a group, without the concerns of maintaining an all-year holiday home.
The company describes trips to Hawaii spent in villas abroad as "more fun and more memorable" than a standardised hotel holiday.
Jeff Berzolla of Hawaiian Beach Rentals, said: "We have traditionally specialised in providing our customers with alternative vacations to Hawaii, allowing them to stay in unique places and helping them coordinate the details of their dream vacation."
Last month, AXA reported that 8.3 million Britons were planning on taking a villa holiday in 2006.
