An African safari firm has reported a shift towards families travelling together to African safari and paid special notice to this fact on its recently launched website.
African Portfolio's new African Safari website aims to provide up-to-date and relevant information to help holidaymakers choose their precise location for their next adventure holiday.
The company's trips for families aim to offer traditional African safari experiences, including bush skills, medicinal use of plants, emergency first aid training and survival techniques.
Diane Ebzery, president of African Portfolio, said: "We provide travellers with everything they need to know in order to select the very best package to suit their interests and requirements.
"We've incorporated ideas for creating safe and family-friendly safari tours into the new site."
Last year, American Express reported that safari destinations tended to have expensive in-patient costs in hospital, with the average cost in South Africa exceeding £3,500.
