09 October 2007 Tricks aren't just for kids
This November in Granada, Spain, a magic festival is taking place that is as much for adults as it is for children.
Featuring artists from Portugal, the US, Switzerland, Germany, Brazil, Belgium and Spain, the Hocus Pocus Festival not only includes performances but also workshops and conferences on the skilled craft.
Taking place from November 20th until 25th, shows and events will be based in a range of locations including Fundacion Rodriguez-Acosta, Plaza Bib-Rambla, Teatro Isabel la Catolica and Isabel la Catolica Theatre.
"The Hocus Pocus festival is just great. What I like a lot that it is not like a normal convention but that the shows are mainly for the general public, that makes it so much better and serves to be a great promotion for magic," commented event attendee Tommy Wonder.
Events scheduled in this year's line-up include close-up magic by Miguelillo, Miki and Voty, Exceptions of Gravity, Avner the Eccentric and Magic for a Dream.
